What requirements do I need to meet regarding Continuing Education?

Our Continuing Education courses are offered year-round and are free for our agents. We provide 24/7 access to our own online learning portal, which features courses and material written by Sibcy Cline employees, so you know the material is always relevant to the specifics of our region, your MLS, the tools we provide for you, and the strategies we’ve employed successfully in the market we know best. We also provide all of our agents with access to Institute, which is a national online industry education portal.

Should I join a team?

Starting your real estate journey as an individual or a team has advantages and disadvantages. Working alone is a bit more difficult, but it can be very rewarding, while working in a team gets you a lot of benefits with some sacrifices.

You will be an independent contractor and Sibcy Cline is a partner in your business. This allows you to build your business based on your goals and lifestyle.

Where will I find leads?

The most important way to find leads is to talk to your sphere of influence. Family, friends, and anyone in your family and friend's spheres. Sibcy Cline branch offices still have regular walk-ins and phone calls. We provide a structured schedule, called Opportunity Time, where you can sign up to answer calls and be the first point of contact at your branch office.

What does the day-to-day look like for a real estate agent?

A day in the life of a REALTOR® can look different depending on the day and the agent. A morning could consist of following up on prospective leads while an afternoon might fill with appointments. You might even get a call at a random point in the day from a client asking to see a property right then and there! Ultimately, it is up to you to find what is best for you and your business, whether it is blocking 3-4PM for responding to emails or blocking the same time for school pick up, you have the flexibility to choose.
